To be fair, they still engage in that nonsense today, we're just focused on other more important nonsense, most days.
Generalization as a means of shutting down meaningful discussion and resorting to name calling is absurdly common now.

Yep, HG&SS. I've played everything up to and including X/Y. Easily my favorite Pokemon games.
I'm convinced the remakes of them were the best games in the series. Expanded on old content, added new stuff too. Very solid.
Eyy, got a Burger Priest or three in the area. They got a secret menu and everything.

Movie rights screwed that up a lot. Wolverine was an Avenger at one point, I believe. Also 90's Spiderman and X-Men cartoons did crossovers!
