I get the sentiment, but there really is no excuse for failing our children in this manner. I get it. They aren't paid enough, they are stretched thin. The system is failing the kids. It's easier to say "the teachers have a hard time finding bullies" than it is to say "I'm sorry your kid died because we weren't attentive enough." As a kid that was bullied, the teachers failed me flat out. So did my parents, but so did the teachers. All faculty, really. They saw it and did nothing. No tracks.
Why are you simping for bullies? Lol. I was bullied in front of teachers and they told them to stop. That was the extent of it. Who is the bully?
My internet friends and MMOs gave me a sense of community and kept my head up. It was a constant reminder that when I was done with that hellhole, I'd be free of them. And that there ARE good people in the world, just not around me. That I can find them when it's time.
I don't know how many times I planned to make them all watch so they would have to live with the horror of what they did to me. Luckily, my better angels got me through.
No one is coming to save us. Talking won't fix this, and my heart is broken.
