The best thing about life is that it is constantly in motion. Every second is a new chance to make something wonderful happen--to build a story that tells a fascinating tale. What will your story be?
I'll give you 21 reasons....
Been there twice now. Mom when I was 9, and step mom just a year ago. It sucks. It hurts. And while the pain will subside, the treasured memories are critically precious. Hold onto those. And when you need to mourn, don't let anyone tell you not to. You will know when the mourning is done and when it is really time for moving forward. In the meantime, my sincerest condolences.
Don't forget, the 40s encouraged a higher % of female workforce. Many disliked the "go back home now" mentality. By the 60s and 70s we saw an increased 2-income households, and increases urban sprawl. Inflations like others spoke of took the options out of it, and we were increasingly used to the comforts higher income households brought. We continue the chase and imbalance today.
I believe it is still legal to marry your first cousin in Colorado.
Does anyone else remember when TV programming stopped for the night? Nothing but static after midnight. Pepperidge Farm remembers.
A friend of mine had these at their wedding. The deal was that couple gets one of the four photos, you choose which one. :) So much fun!
Funny that he is talking to a bunch of people who came to listen to some guy.... :)
Rural Texas. You can get a 4 bedroom house with an acre of property for $100,000. $14 isn't horrible in that context. /shrug
My daughter throws a fit when we try to introduce her to our fav movies and she gets older. Then watches them later on her own. :/
Been there. Was one of my absolute favorite places to visit. Simply amazing. Wish I could study my PhD there. :(
What about a motion detector in the flower bed that will light up and make noise if someone touches it at night? Like the tesla alarm.
But it had an opposite effect. Everything else already changed, and the friends he counted on to see him thru inadvertently alienated him.
My dad told me what hurt the most was friends avoiding him. They all did couples get togethers, and thought he would be hurt attending.
There are some who call me.... Tim.
Missing my starburst with afternoon cartoons.....
That frustrates me.... The opposing digits are supposed add up to 7. 1-6, 2-5, 3-4. :(
Well said. :)
Until recently, the #1 content of thick wallets was photos of your family. I rarely saw a thick wallet with loads of cash in it.
Am I the only one who thinks she sounds pitchy? A little flat? Nice voice otherwise.
Looks like Denver merging onto I-25 from downtown
Truly, my dad is a staunch Republican. He has severe financial struggles and is working into his 70s, but he refuses even earned Gov't aid.
Looks kind of like a strawberry plantr
I was drumming on a platform once and the whole platform split down the middle. Tried to keep going while my chair was falling down....
I give up my google search.... what movie is that?
Was waiting for Chip and Dale to come out and scold him. :)

Moved here from Colorado. It is a steep learning curve.
Willow! Concentrate!!!
My name starts with a D, and that cursive D is almost exactly how she wrote my name.
It says Shower, just sloppy E in there. The 6 1/2 is a D, but not sure if that is Duo, Door, or something. Soap and Towel is right.
