Car seats are expensive, manufacturers certainly have a clear profit interest in having laws that require them.
Sure they seem like a good idea, but doesn't it seem a little unnecessary for them to be required for seven year olds.
Are car seats really necessary? Had anyone really fine an independent study to see how many lives are saved because of them?
