The 550AM) is just a smaller version of the board. Might have some minor downgrades due to size, but if you're looking for a smaller 3/4
Some minor improvements. The B550 is the actual version (which is better than the 450/550a) and the 550m (which can also be found as 2/x
Okay, not much of an AMD guy, but from what I've been able to see it's kinda like this. B550A is acutally a rebranding of the B450 with 1/x

No, but, I've found that people usually decide to switch to pc around the start of the console generation. The new consoles look pretty good
There's a new generation of Nvidia graphics cards coming out which look amazing! There's also the new ps and Xbox consoles coming out soon.

That being said, if your computers disk is not opening, there's a little hole that you can push a paperclip through to open back up.
