300W (overestimate) at $0.12/KWh => hydro costs $0.86/day. Mining earned $4/day avg profit over the last year.
Electricity is cheap+renewable here, I included it. Card lifetime will take a small hit (it's not running hot), but it'll break even first.
I bought a machine with a 3070 a year back. When I'm not gaming, I have it mining crypto to try to recoup costs. It's almost break-even now.

Given that the QR code is binary pixels, you can make the whole thing from 2s and 3s, for 2 extra bits of data per dice (=2 hidden QRs).
Consider that for 2s, 3s, and 6s you have the ability to encode one bit of information with their orientation. Time for hidden messages!
