I am a geek and a nerd. There is little I don't enjoy nerding or geeking about.
yeah it was for the u.s. and canada but despite claiming that canadian customers had an equal chance to win they never sent any of the major prizes to canada. There was a lawsuit about it.
There is literally a documentary on this, there was a guy, Jerome Jacobson. He stole the winning tickets from the production facility. Also they never sent winning tickets to canada at all.
Sweet, already ordered some. If I'm lucky I'll be there in November.

tldr; The U.S. has been in a sad pride filled death spiral for half a century.
The current regime is a product of the last version of the same jackass. Reagan pushed a lot of the 'reforms' that removed civics classes and every republican president since has lowered the priority of history and civics classes in education since. The same people that claimed 'trickle-down economics' was a valid strategy have actively worked to create a culture of ignorant 'got mine' as the only path to success and security
yeah a few games have a flashback mechanic, Cyberpunk is purposely less forgiving part of the challenge is for the group to make plans and do the legwork to find out how to take the heist
I really like Shadowrun but the last time I looked at it's system 4th ed shadowrun I think it was a bit of a mess.
Yeah Cyberpunk is best taken when you can manage the double think of serious gritty cyberworld along with goofy silly madness
Yeah the one we are currently doing is Cyberpunk Red which is set in 2045, I've been adding little hints of eldritch weirdness too, not the outright magic of Shadowrun but more SCP like hints of creepy and odd weirdness.
oh definitely wealth just magnifies any issues that are already there
do you have a site for hosting the comic for easier reading?
To be fair once he did get wealth and fame from D&D he started living a more rockstar lifestyle and did wind up divorcing his wife.

If you have a group that can reliably get together and play and would like to do so I am happy to run a game. New gaming friends are welcome
My concern here is that the game will run for about 5 sessions and then fall apart as has happened the last 3 times for various reasons.
