I do not really know what that means but if you just said, Orville is better then Discovery, then we are in agreement.
The inspiration was "The Orville", the new SciFi show a lot of old Star Trek fans love.
First time i heard of it, was a week before the first episode aired. Had a blast watching it, every new episode gets better then the last.
It is so awesome that you hear people say it this often! Orville is "The new Star Trek", no doubt. Absolutely love this show!
I wonder how he feels about it, there are many people who think that. The best Trek show on TV right now is not even called Star Trek.
I wanted to put Star Trek communicators on them too instead of the Orville Logo, but my Photoshop skills were not good enough :-(
Nothing wrong with it, Discovery is awesome! But Orville feels more like Star Trek to the old farts like me.

Yes, it is not a Trek Series in name. But they have the same producers and writers from the old series, so it feels like watching Star Trek
