As a Raptor pilot that's flown the exact tail you recreated, well done!

As an F-22 pilot, that'll be a tough sell to the taxpayer. Very expensive. Would be cool though

I actually doubt that it's entirely staged. Mullet are known to jump aggressively out of the water. Probably chased by the dolphin

lol good luck defending Taiwan. If you ever tried to prevent China from taking ownership of Taiwan you'd learn a lesson the hard way

Damn son, both a hobbyist pilot and a hobbyist troll all in one post! What a treat!

That's certainly one concern. There are so many other things as well that greatly differentiate sim flying from real flying.

Maybe. I think simulators do a great service, but I'm a bit worried about how much the flight training community is leaning more on them now

Pretty soon, it's going to cost more to play MFS than it does to just go get your private pilot license

I believe ya. My comment wasn't meant to put down anyone who disagrees. Surprised it came across that way to a decent amount of people

Man I'm glad you're not planning to have any based on your post, but I'm bummed you feel that way. Just became a Dad and its amazing

Nope. This was a takeoff. He took off, offset north of the runway, then started the vertical pull. Source: I was talking to him on the radio

Nope, in this instance, he took off, offset from the runway due to FAA constraints, then started the vertical pull.

Incorrect.

He's the Public Affairs officer for the team. And a pretty good one at that. This was directly after takeoff

But I understand you took some artistic liberties there. Overall, very well done and I appreciate your attention to detail (4/4)

in reality. And admittedly, it's strange to see tail markings and patches that don't correspond to an actual operational unit. (3)

of the decals/markings are a little too prominent. For example, the refueling port indicators are much brighter than they appear (2)

Honestly, its a very well put together kit. Bravo! The only thing that looks a little off (and this is a VERY minor point) is that some (1)

It's combat ready. Not necessarily up to its full potential yet, but that was sorta the point of the design- to adapt as new tech emerges

As a fighter pilot, you are 100% correct

The key words being "almost solely." If it was necessary for a kill in a few instances, it was necessary on the aircraft.

That laugh at the end... chilling

The good ones are worth their weight in gold. The bad ones I want to strangle. They think the same about us though :)
