You know, after you all said that the sit out day should be safe, I'm thinking we do an unmoderated version of July 29th on that day. Really cause some madness.
That's probably for the best, since you haven't done a good job at proving your point. Keep well.
What does money laundering have to with this? It's not like actual artists are looking at this and thinking 'Damn, I should do this for the money instead of what I actually like'. And I'm struggling to get the first point. Almost everything has to deal with being stuck behind the big names and the algorithm. You have to prove yourself, and that's damn hard. But that isn't a problem with money as it is being a small fish in an entire ocean.
I explained it in the other fellows reply, but I'm not calling you a hypocrite directly. I'm just saying that without AI, this joke doesn't land right. The fact you're saying money ruins art while plugging a site that lets people pay you for your art inadvertently makes it look like your art is part of the problem.
Because I'm not trying to argue with the post, I'm simply saying that trying to say that the message doesn't land without the context of AI. Seriously, take this to 2016 and you'll get a bunch of odd looks as they think of commissions and art shows and, well, patreon. Money doesn't ruin art. Money supports art. The problem is that capitalists know that art is expensive as well, so they'll cut whatever corners they can. Without AI, this post falls flat.
Okay, calm down. The problem is that it's specifically AI art that's the problem, but the post doesn't exactly make a good job at pointing it out. Without the context of AI, the post looks hypocritical.
Okay, I know what you're trying to get at. A lot of people do, I bet. But this really falls flat on it's face when you're advertising your patreon in the description.
Ah, I forgot you needed to pay Imgur by the letter. Good eye.
In a burning building, even with the best tactics in the world, that's not always a choice.
Is it the DnD movie, or something else?
Alright... Odd how it's on Giphy, though. I thought they screened that.
I'm sorry, looking at the gif closer, are those...inflating?
#39 On one hand, absolutely agree that's nonsense. On the other hand, those are bad examples. Those all happen at the finale of films. I'm almost 100% certain that you could find the kind of things those two are doing in other cartoons that people are hypocritally okay with, but this feels like the pot saw the clothes were black and assumed they held water.
I think this is a parody of the ones with your doctor doing a prostate exam. Not too sure what the joke is with a dentist, though.
As someone who doesn't, what is it? Besides vile, I'm willing to bet that's a safe bet.
Yeah. I'll be honest, given the content of the rest of the dump, I was expecting him to start crying. Very happy to be wrong.
That was already made.
He has a track record for good sausage.
At least the latter recognized it was disgusting.
The first time, yes. But why the rest of them? It's not like there's other posts that do this. Or at least none without some deeper meaning.
Okay, I know it's the original caption, but why on earth has all these gone up to the top comments?
#1 What on earth is Patreon doing in there?
It's called 'the New Orange is Black', thank you.

You know, for once I'm happy that this is A.I.
No, that's IQ. It's actually a notice that you give someone if you took something without permission.
Humor me. How?
Found it.
You forgot the second teaching of the internet. It's a parody of that guy taking a drag of his cig while making the same face at his phone.
#45 I wouldn't say they're that iconic. One of them always seems to be getting kicked out, and the other leaves people hanging.
