Handmade Kitchen Knives from The Netherlands. Worldwide delivery. www.oooms.nl
I start with 320 and then 400 / 600 , 800, then polish. Just getting the edge will be quickest with 320 or even 240
Lol, I might use that.
I use belts with a fabric backing that i rip into small strips. You could do the same with sandpaper, but then it's better to tape the back with ducttape for extra strength. Als tape your blade so you don't accedentially scratch it. And tape the edge so you don't cut yourself. It's not hard, good luck!!!
Hi, it's called a mosaic pin. It's basically a brass tube with some smaller tubes or rods inside.
Didn't film this particular one, but you can find several others on my social media channels. I'm OOOMS.
Thanks. Showing how I made the handle.
Thanks.
I do sometimes but these are just bought online.
Lol
Thanks, yes, combined with filigrain, sort of.

Nice, good to hear!
A few...
The epoxy soaks the paper.
That's perfect for wood.
Thanks, I do show the epoxy honeycomb making in other videos. Feel free to check my site for my social media channels; www.oooms.nl (bottom home page)
It's mineral oil, but not a finish. After this step I will still polish the handle.
Thanks, I do believe you. Please do tell me the fair you saw them at, either by DM or just here. TIA!

Yes, I try to pull out as much air as possible. I'seen online that it would be better to use a pressure pot but I don't have one...
