Prices in general are pretty fscked due to the shortages. I bought 2 2tb m.2s a year ago for a new build for whenever i get a new cpu. Those same m.2s (now 2-3 years old from initial release) if i was to buy them today... have doubled in price.
One of the reasons id never order something delicate/expensive from newegg/amazon. If your going to be spending that much money, might as well go to a microcenter or something, buy the parts individually and build it yourself, might also save a bit more.
