I'm a single mom with one child and a handsome dog. I used to work my dream job; but now I'm disabled. My entire world has been turned upside down and I'm just trying to hold on.

Oh you sweet summer child. I work for the hospital, with insurance (i pay for). I went to an appointment for a nerve block in my neck and the doctor accidently gave me an epidural at the C2/C3 location in my neck. I lost ability to talk, swallow, move my arms and legs ect. They called an ambulance because the building i was in was attached to the main hospital by a catwalk but is considered a separate building from the hospital. The 1/2 block ride in the ambulance cost me $1210.00.

You could just be a worker in the US like me! College degree and working two jobs to pay my bills. It's great because I don't get paid overtime from either job! Yay!!!

My shepherd also does this. She'll pick up ANYTHING! Keys, phone, papers, remotes. If it is on the floor (your shoes or you dropped it) or on the sofa, it is fair game.

That is for a 30 day supply. I will suffer horrific symptoms without it. Weight loss, diarrhea, nutritional deficiencies, stomach pain, bloating, bruising, malaise, ect.

Yeah. I switched jobs (I work in the medical field) and went from one hospital to another. I had a two month lapse in insurance from when one insurance ended until my new insurance started. I had pancreatic cancer, and because half of it was removed, I now suffer from pancreatic insufficiency where my pancreas doesn't produce enough enzymes to break down carbs, proteins, and fats. I need to take them everytime I eat. They cost $4,000 using good RX. 🤑

This is also true with chickens. Brumble foot, prolapsed vent, attacked by a dog....

I almost died from a tick bite a few months ago. I got ehrlichiosis from a nymph tick that embedded itself behind my knee. I pulled that sucker off and keep on keeping on. About two weeks later I ended up going to the hospital due to dizziness, headache and high fever. That night I went into respiratory failure and nearly died. Fun times.

My ED has a pressure sealed room that they keep them in. They even give them food and water if the patient is there for very long. Animals come with their owners if they are out with them when an ambiance is needed.
