I play both; but prefer Vintage. While Gregtech is... interesting it seems to mostly be pleased with overcomplicating everything, Vintage just hits the right middle ground.

One thing worth noting for Diabetics (Or anyone else with health problems in that vein) is that Adrenaline sucks every singular bit of energy out of your blood; if you're giving first aid like CPR then once you're done go and have a sit down, a bite to eat, and relax because when that adrenaline is gone properly you're going to be hit by a shovel of exhaustion
Racism is perpetuated by the rich; it's easier to control the workers when you convince them a guy with different skin colour is the issue and not the guy making literally millions of times more than you will make in your whole life.

The Democrats benefit from the exact same systems that the Republicans protect; a few of them want to stop it froma moral standpoint but all too many will only pay lip service to stopping the Repubs. They'll never take a stand, because half of them are on the same side as the Repubs
Starmer's government will refuse to do anything that hurts the companies that fund them. If you're a Brit and surprised about this, you've not been paying attention.
The secret is to give the kids something they like, and tinge it with fascism. You know, like Hitler did with the Hitler Youth.

As a cat owner, I can confirm that cats are nothing like this at all. My cats could fall off of the ground
I used to do door-to-door with a guy who used to be homeless; great guy, went to art school once the company shut down IIRC. He told me that, yeah, sometimes they buy booze or drugs, but when it's the middle of November and the chronically (and purposely) underfunded shelters are all crammed to capacity so you're on the streets with a blanket and some handwarmers, yeah, you fucking buy some booze or drugs to just help you feel warm, or happy. The system is rigged against the working class.
A lot of this guys' stuff is; everything is existential, and some is topical.
