It's a fairly close match. Not perfect, but pretty close to population density. Florida has a little less activity, and North Centeral (The "Midwest") shows a bit of activity relative to population density, but all in all there's not a super significant difference between this and population density.

I like neither. Light pollution sucks. Stars are pretty.

This oddly feels very alike every interaction I have with AI when trying to do technical stuff with computers. I follow the directions given, run into an error, and it tells me how I made errors and it's my fault that the thing I copy-pasted from the AI was wrong. I hate the current v5 ChatGPT and how it acts with assisted debugging. If I wanted to be treated like shit, I'd talk to my father again.

But look at the gibberish nametag on the vest. There's a railroad crossing sign in the back. The phone on the right side is not being used as a camera, it's not showing a view the camera would be seeing.

Or photoshooped. There's just so many things that look horribly off.

This looks very AI generated.

Nah, US taxpayer money will subsidize it. Investors won't lose out on jack shit. Tech companies are "too big to fail" .... where have I heard that before?

I give credit to Dell, you can look up the article "Dell admits customers are not buying PCs just because they have AI". However, the unfortunate side is they think the marketing confuses consumers, which means they're probably still all in for pushing and focusing on how to cram this useless immature worthless tech onto everyone. I personally like the game of "ask AI an important question and then research why it's wrong." Because almost more often than not: it's wrong. I run my own LLM now.

I'm exhausted of hearing "I can spot a Nazi when I see one." No. They blend in with ordinary people. They unfortunately are in my family, they're up and down the street I live on. I see them when I go to the grocery store. They're everywhere, and I don't know which are them and which are sane and good people, and that always worries me.

That law doesn't get enforced pretty much anywhere that allows burn pits and burning of trash. There was a crackhead down the road who regularly burned tires, plastics, and stolen cables for getting rid of the insulation. He only stopped because he burned down his house after years of doing it. The police & EPA did not care at all, never investigated, never showed up, nothing. Didn't matter the photos, evidence, fact it would go on for more than 6 hours at a time.

I feel like it's a matter of time before people start fighting back against these terrorists.

I don't think he does know he's lying. I think he genuinely believes what he says is actually true.

If you're doing this to try and get the game out and promoted and stuff, go for someone else and not me. I don't do social media, so I'd have no platform to promote/share the game on. I'd pretty strictly be testing the game, and trying to glitch/exploit/break/bug as much stuff as possible, it's what I do for fun.

I'll give it a go and report back if you're at all curious how it runs on Linux, so that would be Steam version for me.

PFAs are what has been used to create and apply Teflon to surfaces. Teflon itself isn't the problem, it's the PFAs that are the problem and the "forever chemical". All the same, this is good news, but it may be massively missleading to people not aware that Teflon isn't dangerous. You can eat Teflon if you wanted to, it's not what's building up inside your body. Plastics and PFAs are. And we're back to the old days, blood donating/letting is an effective way to reduce the amount in your body.

Having been homeless before, I'll take the streets over a shelter any day. Absolutely. That shelter was the worst thing ever. If I were to work (which I did have a job) they wanted 3/4 of my income. I was not allowed any privacy. I was not allowed to have excedrine for my migraines. I had no access to any of my medication. They FUCKING LIED and forged my drug test to say I was on heroin. It was a hellish control camp. It wasn't helpful, it was just hell. I got out of that nightmare after 3 days

Just needed to vent into the void about this. I thought it'd be a great job with new challenges and stuff to learn. Nope.. it's a year of feeling like I'm burned out, doing nothing, and I'm two months in. I can't last ten more. I feel stupidly overqualified as well, the people in positions above me have barely a quarter the knowledge and experience I have, but I'm not allowed to help, assist, or say anything at all, because their work is "above my paygrade".

I'm actually quitting in a few weeks because I just can't take it. I'd rather work fast food again than get paid to sit at a desk with nothing to do for just under 8 hours a day. The job is linux sysadmin, but I cannot (without being fired) do anything but two types of helpdesk tickets (which happen maybe once a week) and copy-paste data from a PDF to Email every day. I've started learning Chinese just for the sake of having something to do and learn.

I got a job that I moderately hate/dislike so far. It's nice having income again, but I'm not a person that likes to do absolutely nothing at all, and my job, while I'm on probation (for 12 months) restricts me from being able to do much of anything. So I spend about 10-20min. a day doing real honest actual work, and the remainder of the day just playing crappy mobile games on my phone. I know it's someone's dream to get paid to do nothing and have this job, but I personally hate it.

I also haven't been able to listen to it, but that's what I read from the comments of the post yesterday. OP is just doing a repost.

I'll do my best to summarize what I remember from seeing this yesterday. Two girls go on flight alone for first time, towards end headphones die, so they watch movie quietly on speaker. Glosshead berates and terrifies these kids over it because he can hear what they're watching. Then the asshole goes and starts berating them again at baggage claim, where their father just lays into him for being a complete dickbag to his girls. If anyone knows the story more accurately, please correct/fill-in.
