There is no bio, only Zuul

I think it’s not uncommon with ADHD as well

And I agree with you. My first thought was “do we even vaccinate for tb?” Because I didn’t remember myself or my kids getting it. That headline is rage bait nonsense that does not help us address the anti vax problems

TB is not part of the CDC vaccine schedule because it’s not common in the US

And even if his order gets struck down that’s not gonna help everyone hurt by it while the lawsuits are delayed in court. And of course he will see no consequences for the pain and injustice this order is intended to cause.

Legality only matters if it’s enforced

*enough on your plate already

Wow that really sucks. Remember that it’s okay to be grateful that everyone survived while also feeling the trauma of the calamity. Yes things can be replaced, but the replacing and rebuilding is another thing to deal with and it sounds like you had enough on your place already. From one internet stranger to another, all the best to you and yours!

As a Texan who has been actively voting against the GOP for years, thank you for this.

Right?? Where’s my fucking cake batter?!!?

And there will be MANY who will vote Trump not because they support him in particular but because they have been brainwashed to believe that democrats are evil. They will vote red no matter who.

This horrified me so much. Things like this make me want to flee this state, but that’s not an option at the time. Until I can leave, I’ll just attempt to be a little candle of light and goodness against terror like this

Can confirm OK against TX. Never thought I’d move from OK to TX but now I’m happier here than I would be there. Though I think TX probably hates California more than OK these days.

I was the “problem child” at home. So many outbursts and was constantly bullying my siblings. But did my parents ever hit me or abusively berate me? For the most part, no. Did they pay attention to me, listen to me, validate my needs and emotions? Also no. Yes it turns out I also have ADHD which I’m sure didn’t help with the emotional outbursts, but that’s still no reason for the way my parents treated me. My dad still thinks my husband “tamed” me. No dad, he just doesn’t emotionally neglect me

Did anyone pick up on his quote of “who voted for my 85- 90- year old father or mother?” What I’m seeing is setting up another argument to remove absentee/mail in voting. It’s not insane, it’s intentional and carefully planned to disenfranchise as many people as possible

I’m an incredibly picky person and I do my best to choose things that require little to no change. People who do this, do they not get embarrassed at being so needy and high maintenance?? Plus it’s not going to turn out how you want because it’s kind of a huge ask of the busy kitchen staff.

😆 that’s like saying “it’s Michigan. We don’t get snow here.”

We live in TX. A few years ago a hailstorm destroyed our car, our roof, and broke both panes of a double paned window. I grew up in Tulsa, OK so I’m no stranger to severe weather but OMG I’ve never seen as much hail as I’ve seen in Texas.

My mom used the term LMNOP to intentionally mock LGBTQ+ and I asked her “why did you say it like that?” Proud to say she got embarrassed and apologized. I’d like to say she wouldn’t do that again, but I think she just won’t do it again in my earshot.

Had appendicitis a few months ago. It was wild how fast it went from mild pain to serious emergency. Totally fine to can barely walk within 6 hours. It’s also insane that a quick 10 minute surgery prevented me from possibly dying a horrible death. Fuck that manager, no one asks for appendicitis.

Rome at the outset was a city state under the government of kings: liberty and the consulate were institutions of Lucius Brutus and then the dragons arrived. (Tacitus, Annals)

Best one yet

That’s a good analogy. I would only push further to highlight the violence of Sulla’s regime. In fact, the violence of Sulla (especially proscriptions) really emphasizes the clemency of Caesar a generation later.
