Seconding the point in acidity. I keep a cabinet stocked with several different kinds of vinegars and a drawer in the fridge with lemons and limes. Between rice vinegar, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and lime juice you can bring a TON of flavor to the party with no salt added.
I too have returned to imgur from reddit. It's comforting seeing the same memes still making the rotations after being away for 5 years or so.
I've gotten more help on imgur than I did from r/homeimprovement.
The wall is actually detached from the house but as it's within 10 feet of our house we have to have a firewall.
Im mostly probing to see if I need to insulate and sheetrock between the joists on that wall at all. As for the spray foam that was to just fill penetrations in the top plate, the inspector said any expanding foam would do. The other open spots need to stay open so the inspector can see the required work to pass reinspection. Thanks for the feedback
Thank you, it's been a pretty shitty situation picking up the pieces my contractor left. Thankfully all that's left is this firewall and final inspection.
Also the electrical itself was done before my contractor went bankrupt and passed final electrical so for my understanding it's all good to go.
The framing inspector told me that the foam was for sealing penetrations in the top plate and that any foam would do. Worst case I'll punch it out and get the fire rated stuff.
I work at a fast causal Mexican place, we have one if these...I choose a knife every time. It's a bitch to get clean and it's fragile AF.
Yeah, it's still red as fuck here but people tend to just bitch about the gov and leave strangers alone.
