Fair, but 3/4 of those are regular, non-royal mortals. They did all their stuff through charisma and badassery and I think that's neat.

A death sentence would be unsafe, expensive, and won't bring back the baby. A life sentence may be more appropriate.
It's actually quite expensive to keep someone on death row. A life sentence would only be marginally more expensive and a safer alternative.
