Well I made a bard that's perfect for diplomacy, but anytime it's needed our dragonborn usually just tries to eat the NPC.
I'm not the DM. Just a "neutral" player, wanting to act like a normal band roving of misfits, not murder hobos.
They use "evil" as an excuse for barreling through towns and objectives and getting straight to the fights. Groups are hard to come by here.
Wish my fellow party members wanted to do something like this. Everyone I play with is "evil." Little npc investigation and no puzzles.
