Attack of the Clones is still the worst Star Wars movie. That movie was so bad it made the lightsaber boring.
Honestly, most of the setup in TFA looked like it was going to be boring rehashes.

It depends on how much of the table was frustrated. If it was just the paladin, paladin was a jerk, if it was everyone else, it's the bard.

Deku's parents are still married, his dad just works overseas.
He faced it before, when he was hired for GotG1. He apologized and made changes to his behavior.

They brought it back once and it wasn't as good, don't want to see what happens if they try it again.
I got enough of those in Bender's Game, I'm happy keeping them minimal.
Even Futurama wasn't always Futurama good (that first season after renewal was rough)
Not saying The Witcher is bad, or even shouldn't do what it does, but it's clearly made some attempts to pander to its audience.
The Witcher still panders to markets, the random, mostly pointless sexual escapades don't add much, excluding the actual romances.
