Yeah a lot of artists depict that event without the mounts, I guess it makes for a more badass scene artistically.
What's up! I used Chase Stone's depiction of the face off between Lyonel and Duncan the Tall as reference because it's totally badass.
There are many people who make smaller versions that go for around $50 on places like Etsy. This big guy is 2 ft x 4 ft
Unfortunately with the hours I poured into this thing (first time trying this) I don't think it would be worth it to sell.
It may be the up and down lines that are making it seem like that. Any time I went with the grain it produced a nice, clean line.
Yessir! Drew out the map in pencil based on the maps in the books and then went back over with the wood burner.
I'm actually planning on making a plexiglass cover with dedicated regions to play Risk on it!
