Betta fish are notorious for being aggressive with other betta fish. so keeping them all in indavidual bowles is the only way to keep a large number available.

We have a goldfish pond in our backyard. The mosquitoes lay their eggs in the pond and the fish eat em. No mosquitoes as a result.
