I loved this show - thought it was very underrated!
Oh I wasn't citing the UK version - I am currently living in the Netherlands, and am well acquainted with the Dutch "g"

Are these humorous? To me they're more a thought-provoking commentary on some of the key issues in the world today.
Ahh okay, thanks for that - but still, is there a particular reason why the customer calculates themselves?
Maybe a clearer way of phrasing it is "I don't start a task expecting it to be completed straight away" but i think the sentiment is valid.
Hang on, as a confused Brit, are you saying the price you see on the shelf isn't the price you have to pay?
Submarine is one of the best films I've ever seen: hilarious, beautifully shot and wonderful soundtrack. Definitely worth a watch!
I felt genuinely sorry for the performers. They were 17 girls who were decent singers, and they got booed on the biggest night of their life
