Didn't think i'd ever say that but maybe it's time we all learned something from China.

While absolutely true - having their heads blown off would stall this shit considerably and give democracy another shot. They've put all their eggs into these two particularly dense baskets. If they lose them, it'll take time to direct the brainwashed masses to blindly love someone else.
the die-hard MAGAs are lost. but the undecided and plain stupid voters - Dems dropped the ball there. hard. have done so for decades. the Reps control the narrative. both sides are the same, not worth voting, dems are out for your freedom, save our guns. Dems need to trash the 'decorum' and play as dirty as the Reps.
That's just it. It's that whole 'if they go low, we go high' shit. don't. cheat. go low. use the dirtiest tactics you can find. buy the local radio station. pay a stupid influencer. have some funny vids on tiktok. stupid people don't want to be educated, but they love to be entertained.
The thing is - that exact same thing happened four years ago. and eight years ago. the Dems have not done a good job reaching out to the lower education populace. this is why there will be so many fat leopards the next years. the Dem's marketing department sucks.

Next time someone laments why no one stopped nazi germany back then - this right here. political interest and a little bit of agreement from the politicians, complacency and helplessness from the people. and this time round we can't even pretend we didn't know.
I don't understand why they bother to suppress documentation when the next moment they go in front of a camera and talk about getting rid of arabs as proudly as the nazis were of going after the jews.

and just the other day someone brought a hat bobble to a local wildlife rescue cause they thought it was a hedgehog. we may not be at our prime as a species.
i'm always fascinated how capable little kids are if you let them do things for themselves instead of treating them like little idiots.
okay, just... no. i agree Trump is evil. but apart from that overinterpreted seven hills point ("here's a line between two random point! amazing, right?") every single one of those points fits every despot who ever walked the earth. this is not a prophecy or cut specifically to trump, this was someone who realized if you've seen one tyrant you've seen them all.
