Because they're not related. LGBT has a very successful movement that accomplished great things, and other groups want to ride their coat tails. There are better ways to collaborate than to usurp their movement.

I see China sending thousands of ships to South America to steal their marine life. I see China embedding hidden code in critical Telco infra (backbone components I used to work with). I see China interfering in Canadian elections and laundering billions of dollars in Canada. I see China buying government votes internationally by offering to build things in poorer Caribbean and African countries and then saddling them with debt. So no., don't see Taiwan, I see a brutal regime.
