The turtle is definitely not a jackass, but I believe they are referring to the jackass pulling its tail.
Well I would say a more likely flaw is that the animal could have 2 brains, and thus 2 separate counciounesses both looking at the stars.
I think she deserves punishment, but I do not believe "making an example" should ever be a factor in deciding to change someone life.
Of course, but most people have done SOMETHING illegal in their lifetime. It would be unfortunate if you were caught and made an example 1/2
