Hello fellow humans! I'm a 3D Character Artist & part-time ROCKETEER. I make polygons and play games.
I think it’s my favorite of the entire Ghibli library! There’s something so delightfully charming and yet still really grounded about it that makes just so heartwarming. Even with so many phenomenal Ghibli films, Kiki will always be my personal forever heart.
Lots of indie devs partner with a smaller publisher to release their game. That’s not really unusual.

Tell me, how do I feel?
If I were to do that exact slick-back with my hair, freshly cut at about that length, it would NOT look even remotely that thin. And I’m in my 30’s. That kid’s working with the one heck of a genetically *sparse* hairline for sure.
Do they? It seems the motivation behind the strikes on Iran were to stall or halt progress on Iranian nuclear proliferation (though it’s likely inevitable at this point). If that’s the goal then I would assume they don’t yet have the capability, otherwise the strikes would be pretty irrelevant provocation.Gods help all of us if one or the other ever decides the nuclear option is even remotely viable…

I think they call themselves “avians” just like the lizard/reptile ones use the term “scalies”. Granted…the last time I looked it up was a while ago, so maybe those are outdated.
And then promptly learn nothing in the long term. We’ll elect a Democrat next term as a reaction to this Trumps 4 years of nonsense and then go right back to boneheaded Republican economic policies because “we want change” after that Dem finally manages to stabilize things again. We’ve been doing the same stupid cycle for nearly three decades.
Some *were* literally born that way. I encountered a true sociopath not long ago - there was genuinely nothing I could ever tell him that would get him to care about anyone else. Just a total absence of empathy to a pathological degree. It was…truly stunning to behold and I honestly think there are a LOT more of those kinds of folks out there that go relatively unrecognized.
Bruh chill…it’s an indie dev just trying to make a passion project game which statistically don’t sell well anyway. Isn’t there already enough cynicism on the internet these days?
No specific dimension in mind really. Let’s say a rough range of something smaller like 11x8 all the way up to larger poster sizes? Personally I think I’d lean larger just because…wow…look at all those colors! Tho I’d understand if shipping might make that prohibitively expensive.

Wow, that is really stunning! I love your use of complex color patterns to create those gradients. Looking at your previous posts, it’s really amazing to see how much your mastery of this particular style & medium has been growing (tho you must go through a TON of paint). Just out of curiosity, what does your commission rate look like for the various sizes?
I think a few dudes probably would love to otherwise take a photo with her, but don’t want to come off as a creep and will usually err on the side of caution.
From my experience in corporate game development/industry, that is largely true of most of the c-suite class.
Here’s a thought: maybe *dont* go around just assuming the worst of complete strangers doing creative things on the internet? What a weird behavior.

Is she actually still a Kiwi? I know her long-time partner was, but I don’t think they’ve been together for a while now so I’d be curious if she had to move back to the States (despite her accent, she’s from L.A. originally).

Dead? It routinely clocks into the top 10 on Twitch - that’s probably well north of 1 million daily active users considering the average player numbers of similar games. Dunno if that matches the highs it had back in its peak, but I’m not sure how that counts as “dead”.m, especially considering they’ve yet to relaunch in China.Or are you referring to how much Bobby Kotick screwed over the IP in general?
The video may be fake (although that is a LOT of people involved for a faked vid). But like I said, situational awareness can be absurdly low in stressful events. If they’re expecting to find someone *running away*, taking a second glance at the supposedly napping homeless lying on the street might not even register. I’ve seen footage of cops blow right by a suspect because he turned a corner, removed his hoodie, then casually walked back around and looked as if he was watching someone running.
Yeah, my sister got one after high school in the early 2000’s because she had a silly fantasy of being the hot Santa Cruz beach girl with a mustang. Riding in that thing was awful at anything more than residential speeds. They look neat, but they’re noisy, uncomfortable, clunky metal crates on wheels.
