Hahaha i have a side view where all tlcompression rings are missing. Thats how much material is missing. Theres only one ring land left.

Friend had a 90 something tundra you could shift 2-3-4 if you hit the sweet spots in the rpm band. It was like a magic trick
If a synchronizer ring is worn out it won't slow the next gear down/speed it up to match engine rpm and that will cause the gears to grind.
