Just a regular aircraft mechanic who likes rockets and memes.
I always found this line of thinking really confusing. I was raised as a Mennonite (pacifists among other things) and Jesus LITERALLY says "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" like....... Seems pretty straightforward.I'm not religious anymore but I do remember this being one of the things that denominations really disagreed on.
/s?
There is....... So much optic on that guy's rifle on the left. Like...... How do you love guns that much and choose to do that?
I have no idea, this was quite a while ago. He did go to the hospital. Unsure of what all his symptoms were.
Y'know I was actually wondering if that was the case haha. Thanks for doing the math!
Probably? He went to the hospital was all I remember. It was certainly one of the choices of all time.
A guy from my highschool did something similar. He made an "80 hour energy" by combining 16 of them. It did not go very well for him.
I hope so! It's the paperwork side of things that's got me the most worried lol
Thanks. I usually get this way when I start a new job but this time is even more so, because it's been 6 years.
Yeah. I've been trying to work on that mindset. It's weird how difficult it is to do.
Isn't it though?!? I think about that from time to time and it's always like.......... We are so small
I've thrown out exactly zero insults. All I wanted to do was offer a different perspective on something that I think isn't exactly correct but I hear repeated often. And judging by the other comments here on this post I think I'm not the only one who shares this perspective.
You seem to just want to argue. I have no interest in discussing this with someone who is going to resort to insults.
Ok, but like, what I said can still be true. It's true that many things are built cheaply, this has always been true. Companies want to make money. However, it's also true that there are manufacturers that will make a higher quality product and charge much more for it. It's just that now the majority of people can't afford that, so we experience the cheaper stuff more often in our day to day.
Idk if this is necessarily true. I've heard it explained as a form of "survivorship bias." We only see the well built antique stuff nowadays. I'm sure there were cheaper brands that existed back then that we don't have a lot of surviving examples of. Same as today. If you have the money you can get higher quality things that will last, but the issue is most people can't afford those.
Ill try. Not very easy some days.
My therapist is having me write a few wins in my journal every day. Started a week ago. I'm still at the point where it feels kinda like I'm just kidding myself and reaching for straws but who knows. I'm not super bought into it which might make it not work.
I really struggle with this unfortunately. It just kinda feels like people that tell me this are saying "have you tried ignoring it?" (This isn't meant to be swatting down your point it's just genuinely difficult for me)
That filler primer is the bees knees. I use it for rockets because it fills the spirals in the tube really well. I had thought of the warm water trick though, that is super good advice!!
Definitely agree!
These pictures kinda remind me of the lead singer of caravan palace.
Felt
Bradford Pear trees. Yeah I legit thought something had died when I rode the bike past some.
Definitely! This was in Philadelphia
They've definitely shown up on my gym list!
It was so fun! Everyone jamming to a song, then they bust out a saxophone/trombone and everyone goes wild lol.
Yeah! They're really fun!I heard of them about 6 or 7 years ago, on Imgur actually lol.
The opener was Zayka, hadn't heard of him but he was pretty good.A lot of what I listen to isn't touring anymore. Mewithoutyou, tally hall, caro emerald, also a fan of prog rock groups.
I'm not usually either. Being with a friend helped a lot, I tend to body double (which is a thing I just learned existed) to help me stay grounded. This was at Union Transfer in Philadelphia.
Noted! I'll look into them
