Agreeable discourse--I won't insist that my definition of open minded is somehow superior. That's how holy wars start
This is what I expected. My instinct is to rebutt I think due to semantics. I expect that what we each think open minded differs slightly.
I do appreciate your candor. I would, on impetus of curiosity, ask if you see the risk in being less opening minded as a consequence
I regret that I did not recognize the tone of levity. I might've enjoyed the light jab. I'd contest that was the most honest I've been.
Not explicitly, but the echo doesn't necessarily know everything you know.
It sounds like you don't value the opinions of people who disagree with you out of hand.
See, this is where you keep saying unnecessarily hurtful things that you cannot prove. But then you don't care, right? That feels like spite
Or forty five comment long imgur threads.
You're still replying, suggesting you care something of the discussion--be it to prove yourself right or just stretch your legs. You care.
I agree. I certainly think I'm more clever than I am.
And in the interest of transparent discourse. "I won't lay blame" was crappy of me to say. That, itself, was an attempt to lay blame.
The pursuit of hoping either of us might see things a little differently than we did before is the worthier goal.
We can accomplish without insulting each other. I think perhaps you did see a different viewpoint, but disagree and dismissed. It's fine.
Reiterate that you contradicted yourself saying it is easy and that not everyone can do it. And we can agree to disagree. Thats as much as
Is that you insisted it's easy to accomplish this. I disagree. If it were, everyone would. But we digressed. I won't lay blame, but I will
Meanwhile, it isn't a matter of my comfort. Obviously others will try to develop new skills and better themselves, but the original point
View by saying it "does not matter to you" is disingenous and, functionally, the same as an insult. Again, empathy.
Exercise matters to both of us personally or it wouldn't have continued. Your deliberate attempt to undermine the validity of an opposing
I do contend that it is needless to derail a conversation by accusing a person of "not mattering to you." The constituents may not, but this
You're perfectly entitled to feel it to be truth, but that does not make it truth. Hyperbole has a place whether you like it or not.
Dismissive of a dissenting opinion. That would be what was insulting. That would be what I suggested was a subtlety
Never contended facts. "spouting nonsense to sound clever, but achieving the opposite, not really a plus, ya think" this is conjecture and
While simultaneously cautioning you that your expressions could be construed as a sign of depression, angst, and nihilism. But you know that
This is the internet. This is an echo chamber. Nothing we say here matters. It's an attempt at an objective discussion. I was being sardonic
19 hours ago "not that subtle"--you admitted to insulting me. We're you trying to reveal some great mystery of life to me with this?
Try not to cut yourself, okay? You'll stain the carpet.
*facepalm* you're a right bundle of cynism and tunnel vision. If you read anything I wrote I doubt you gave it actual thought.
"Life is not fair" versus it being as simple as learning new skills to get ahead. These aren't opposites, but they don't go together either.
If you lack the capacity to breathe on your own it is not a great loss in the GRAND scheme. Would be to you. Your contradiction puzzles me.
I gave my girlfriend the D) for you, op
