Both were amazing and great men. So don’t get me wrong when I say I wouldn’t categorize them as very masculine in their tv portrayals.
It’s not the worst thing ever. It’s definitely for its target age group and it definitely panders to sjws but it’s not aweful.

No they defended. The act of using the rifle for defense or offense has nothing to do with that the rifle is called.
If we’re not talking strictly what the rifle can be used for and not what it’s called any rifle can be used for assault or defense.
M16 and military versions of the AK platform are examples of assault rifles.

There is no defense rifle designation. For something to be categorized as an assault rifle is must be select fire. It’s just a definition.
If one somehow was able to get the permits and had the large amount of money sitting around to obtain the gun capable then the answer is yes

I’m not aware of any style of rifle specifically called a defense rifle. I suppose any rifle you have in your home for that purpose would be

As far as I understand it an assault rifle uses an intermediate cartridge and is capable of using either full or semi auto fire. (1
I drink often but I’ve only actually been drunk twice. I love the taste of beer but I only have one in a sitting. I’m just poor lol.
