#7 I gave a homeless person some money once and the guy I was with said he was just going to buy alcohol with it. I told him *I* was going to buy alcohol with it (we were literally on our way to a bar), that money was destined for alcohol, and he probably needed a drink more than I did.

It's actually scientifically proven that food cooked by someone else tastes better. At least according to a single study I watched on PBS.
That exact reason is why it took me (an adult) so long to realize I needed glasses. My brain was filling in what I expected the word to be.
