You can't give any food away, otherwise nobody will pay. Starvation is a requirement in a system that commodifies food. It's disgusting.
That being said, we should all strive to a sustainable future and try to adjust to having less excess.
The actual contributors to the pillaging of our future are all too happy to keep shifting the burden onto those who are not at fault.
