I think he went there looking for a fight. I don’t mean politics the way you’re understanding. I mean he wasn’t trying to change policy.
This kid killed people but he wasn’t politically motivated so he doesn’t fit those terms. Other than murder.
An insurgent uses resistance aiming to change out political parties. Terrorists use violence to change the policies of in place parties.
I get what’s being said here but terrorist and insurgencies are mutually exclusive terms, and neither of them really fit. Murderer, sure.
