Women also weren't able to have bank accounts on their own until the 70s.
That's Lilia from League of Legends, canonically she's a spirit of dreams, so, she may not have that equipment at all.

Oooh, did not know that, thank you!
They all look like sex dolls. What a weird choice
Got to meet this guy once, he was super chill
The government gave crack to low income communities, then would heavily target those areas. Got rid of a lot of PoC from their communities and the voting booth.
Yeah, that's no fun when you want to strangle them
My cats are actually great at coming to bed and sleeping with us, not running around the house
A dude who was drunk was just being affectionate, but he'd pinned me against his side so I couldn't leave and had my friend's hand in a death grip handshake. We both were trying to indicate to the guys around us that "oh hey, we're a little trapped.." and they just left. Both of us just played along because we felt we would have been seen as the problem if we were to get loud, after all, it didn't look that bad and we very likely would have looked like we were overreacting.
I get what you're saying, but, for women specifically, there's a lot of cultural upbringing that makes it difficult. If you feel uncomfortable, getting loud and speaking out will quite possibly just make you look like an overreacting, crazy bitch. Even in scary situations, societal pressure doesn't go away and it can be really tough to undo a lifetime of expectation to not just play along because it's perceived as safer than being loud. My friend and I had this situation happen last year, where
Very fair! I work in mental health and got trained on Narcan, but primarily know the opioid part of it
I was thinking that too. Naloxone is for opioid overdose, not everything on this list..
I do believe it is your sworn duty to take Frank. Look at him, he requires a small octopode to be his Padre.
I'm very appreciative that my cats don't ask for food if we're asleep, even the highly food motivated one. They are really good about sleeping in bed with us, maybe looking out the window, until we get up, then there's mrrows.
I work in crisis mental health counseling. I still have to work with clients who are aggressive, both verbally and physically, and I don't carry a weapon. If you're afraid of people who are just existing, maybe being in a profession where you interact with people who may or may not be aggressive is not the line of work for you.
#21 Moved to a place with purified water on the fridge door. My cats will now drink only that.
I would definitely be kicked out of that line real quick, I would want to stop and read the description of any book that looked interesting.
That kitty has my name, albeit spelled differently!
That was my first Joe Hill book, it's so amazing! One of my top authors after his dad.
I have lampchop cat toys. One of them is a flat lambchop now 😬
I just got my Masters Degree in November. I see jobs that I could apply for with a pay of around that much, what a joke.
I work in mental health counseling. The amount of shitty men across the board of so many women, clients, employees, anyone, and the consistency between the unfortunate tendencies is fucked. (I'm not saying all men are bad or like this, but I have certainly noticed a trend)
Crash of rhinos, cauldron of bats, unkindness of ravens, raft of otters
That kitty looks so much like mine!
I showed my friend the video, said that to her, than saw your comment.
I guess, but there's a lot of different styles and types of therapy and just being mad isn't helping either, might be beneficial to have some skills to utilize to give your mind a bit of a break.
Counseling clinics accept different insurances if you have any, or you could see about community mental health programs. A lot of therapists and programs also have sliding fees based on income. Failing that, look up a local crisis line and vent to them, that shit's free. (Source: I work in community mental health)
I work as a therapist. We unfortunately cannot fix societal issues that impact all of us, but giving coping skills and some methods to look at what you can and cannot control may help. The crushing weight of society is rough, but spending a ton of mental energy on something that you cannot immediately change isn't good for you either.
