There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who do not. Did you know that in base 2, binary is base 10? Why do people read these?

"her" is ambiguous...

You're, presumably, talking about your mother.

The female client (not your mother) is, presumably, not the "her" you reference in your comment.

Right?

"No, for her [..]" - ngl, I was initially confused 🤣

Let me see.  How's that vs. How's this?

Oh my, soooo Taylor Swift, eh?

That _is_ "at least five" 😉

Schnitzel , (Käse)Spätzle, Lebkuchen, Bratkartoffeln, (Semmel)Knödel, Sauerkraut, Rotkraut, Schweinshaxe, Dampfnudel, Laugensachen (Brezel, -stangen, -weck), (Apfel)Schorle, Marmorkuchen (just a few of my personal faves)

But my favorite go-to: Döner [mit allem außer Tomaten, beide Soßen, mit scharf dazu] 😍🤤😋 👨‍🍳👌

Over? Or _on_?!?

Genuine question, never heard of the former but had heard of the latter 😅

"I have middle school students that cannot read a clock" - uhhh doesn't that imply that the image was cropped by the poster like this? Like, the teacher cropped out RELEVANT instructions, for the click bait is your contention?!

That's silly af, imho

2009 wasn't Republican, js. It's the singular outline 🥲

Last sentence of my comment, implicit versus explicit, you chose omission. Schrodinger's douchebag 🤷‍♂️

To "[l]ight buildings on fire in Iran" ?!

That's what you wrote, no? Did you magically forget the preceding context or what?

Post-facto addition of "it was sarcasm [or a joke]" mayhaps?

"When we turn up or down the heat setting, it's a direct relationship to the temp we desire" - but different ruleset for AC in your book, fascinating, how odd 🤔

There is no real "left" IMHO, it's "center" or "right" 🤷‍♂️

A real, honest to god, "left" PARTY/ESTABLISHMENT is sorely missing, that's my take at least.

The money involved leads to a lot of ... spineless behavior in exchange for self enrichment, again that's my opinion on things.

There are some folks with a spine, but they are a dwindling minority, and often lack REAL agency, and it hurts my soul, it's really gross and tragic

Not doublespeak performative bullshit, honest ACTION with merit!

Turn up the heat [make it warmer]
OR
Turn down the AC [make it less cool]

"Turn [ *UP* ] the damn AC" (to me, intuitively: 'make it cooler') is very odd phrasing, IMHO 🤷‍♂️😅

Someone in my extended family was recently diagnosed with some kind of aggressive leukemia (sorry, can't remember the exact phrasing used, it was in German). Could a kind person please direct me to more info on this? They just started chemo and it was devastating news. Maybe this is something that could help them greatly?! I'd love to share medical resources on this if it's not already in their playbook for them! Many thanks in advance!

The tweet doesn't say that though? There is no qualification for exclusivity or inclusion/exclusion.

Is the presumption that the text is INTENDED as doublespeak?

I genuinely don't understand how you reached this conclusion.

You can also zoom?!?

I don't get it.

Pretty sure the right to not cover your arms is Not explicitly codified in the constitution 😂😂 ("bare arms") 🙈😂

The right to *bear* arms, that's covered in the 2nd amendment 🤣

Huge distinction!! 😂🤦‍♂️😂

#2 pretty sure you can run from it AND learn from it...

Seems pretty simple, idk:

One team picks either heads or tails (or whatever the analogous choices are).
If it is NOT their selection (explicit), it goes in favor of the other team.

E.g. "heads" -> lands on side (aka NOT "heads") -> other team gets the selection.

No?

It literally IS a stereotype, defined as "a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing." That's WHAT a stereotype is

What?! Am I having a stroke?! What does this word salad mean..

Put yourself in a [label] box, voluntarily.

"[stereotype] gonna [stereotype] (said as a fellow [stereotype])"

Why? I genuinely don't get it.
