Here in Germany we have a wine called 'Kröver Nacktarsch' which translates to 'Naked Butt from the city of Kröv'

German here. My ex-girlfried once bought an Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher. While I deemed it unnecessary, it worked alright. Right until the day my then gf used it slightly wrong on an undercooked egg, absolutely vaporising it, leaving herself and half the room covered in runny egg.

#41 that last line seems like an upgrade to that meme "and then the dragons arrived"

Some other places in Japan as well, but yeah... Most deer in Japan will behave just as you'd expect them to

Thank god (ha!) religion does not allow any such sort of "dangerous interpretation". I mean, if you are actually are a decent human and believing whatever you believe is aiding you in that matter, great. But the one thing you cannot deny are the atrocities committed in the name of religion.

I get the sentiment, but I'd wish to live in a world where we don't wish for a bad end of life (even for bad people) and don't turn everything into a political statement.

I used to live there and gotta say... As usual, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Some things are better, some are worse. But the Japanese definitely aren't all miserable, and a bit more consideration for others would do well in the western world.

I had an "aunt" who was some 70 years older than me. Most kind-hearted woman I've ever known. Obviously she wasn't actually my aunt, but some distant relative. She passed at the age of 93, I still don't know how exactly how we were related. I never cared to dig deeper into it, just visited whenever I could.

Yea I tried that for a couple of years. I didn't die, but developed long time issues breathing.
