Nevermind I found the answer, turns out they needed the seats for the united crew that was going to fly the plane next. Why not just say so?
I still have a fundamental question, if the airline overbooks a flight isn't it first come first served until the plane is full?

65-85% wtf that movie was shtak. 85-100% classics and the weird crap that you had to make bs about in film class when "analyzing" the film.
You have to read the rotten tomatoes scale backwards. 0-20% movies that are truly terrible. 20-65% many great movies that i love. (1/3)
