It’s an older style. We have similar floors in my 1960s home and it looks just right. Would look odd with other more modern finishes though.

I am one of those things and I could never afford that stuff. Maybe my predecessors in the 90s could have, but not now.
That’s not necessarily true and has not been true of variants thus far. Vaccines work quite well against Delta which didn’t exist earlier
