Well funds were already associated with the issue. And further testimony from witnesses would've costed more money anyways.
He's not that private, his son was vice president of the US. And it was suspected that he was getting paid millions from Ukraine.
But it would also benefit the nation if it were to be true that Hunter Biden/ Joe Biden were involved in corruption with Ukraine.
Well yes but that is why their argument included the idea of mixed motives. Of course you would make a choice that would benefit yourself
Trump had suspicions of Hunter Biden and acted on it, if Hunter Biden was proven to be suspicious, then it would've proved his reasoning.
