No, the bird's actually called the Willow Ptarmigan. There are plenty of birds that are named after the sounds they make though, including: Phoebes, Pewees, Chickadees, Whippoorwills, and more

Invasive plant manager here. There are a few frames with clear shots of the leaves, and they don't appear consistent with kudzu. Based on what I can see, given the leaf shape and overall plant habit, I'm pretty confident this is Japanese hops (Humulus japonicus). One over several plants I lump under the "Diet Kudzu" umbrella, as it can certainly take over an area, but not as quickly or severely as actual kudzu.

They are 100% not grass. Grass and palms are both monocots, but they're only very distantly related. Calling palms a grass would be like calling crocodiles lizards. Just because they share similar structures and have a shared evolutionary history, doesn't mean they're the same thing.

The shape of the head, position of the eyes, and the shape/position of the nostrils are wrong for the black vulture as well. Definitely a juvenile turkey vulture.

You need to have completed the Lumbridge & Draynor elite diary if you want to use fairy rings without a dramen staff

I think the craziest type parasitoid wasps are the hyperparasitic wasps. Wasps that parasitize the larvae of other parasitic wasps while those larvae are already parasitizing some other host insect.

In an application like this, polyurethane is perfectly fine if you allow it to cure properly. The toxic part of modern wood finishes isn't the finish itself, but the metal binders that assist with drying. Once the binders have evaporated, poly is basically just a layer of plastic. Boiled linseed oil actually contains those same binders and needs to cure for about a month before use. I personally wouldn't use poly, I think it looks cheap, but it's fine here. Not good for cutting boards though.

I don't know, maybe try asking the dolphins, bonobos, bats, penguins, or any of the other various types of animals that frequently have sex strictly for pleasure why they're wasting their time enjoying themselves instead of trying to produce offspring.

Exceptionally large lobsters can reach just over two feet in length, not including their claws. And the largest lobster ever caught weighed just over 44 pounds.

No, coconuts are drupes, the same type of fruit as peaches and plums. The part we think of as the coconut is the pit, and the fibrous outer hull is the flesh.

Assuming we're both thinking of the same Chibi (if we aren't, please disregard), I don't really consider The Birthday Massacre metal. They have some songs that are metal adjacent, but I normally call them gothic hard rock. Still my favorite band though. ๐Ÿ’œ

And not just mammals, check out what barn owls sound like. It seems obvious now that a bird with void black eyes that's plain white when seen from below would sound like a banshee
