Yes, south west of France. It's famous for its aeronautical industry (Airbus siege is there), pink brick buildings and excellent food.
Yes, the journey was supposed to be 7 days
Yup, you might be right. But my guess is that the cause is a gust. Because with such heavy winds, there is little to no ground effect..
No, he handled it well, but it was close (the front wheel would break if it hits the ground first). He "de-crabed" a little early that's all
You are right, if the wind comes from the front and is laminar. If it is a crosswind with gusts (like here) higher airspeed is recommended.
In heavy winds, the pilot has to maintain a high airspeed which prevents him from raising the nose + keeps too much lift causing the rebound
Nope, that is actually not normal! The front wheel is NOT supposed to touch the ground at the same time as the main LG. (1/2)

I meant no disrespect. This is the first time I see this, I was curious, that's all :)
Am I the only one a little annoyed by that division sign that OP uses? I mean, it indicates a fraction on a calc, it is not to be written...
.
And you could stay polite even if we disagree...
You're right. And the fact that you (/we) are getting fiercely downvoted is for me a sign that there's a problem. But I'm not American, so..
I'm going to be downvoted, but I don't care. I 100% agree with you. Sports shouldn't gave anything to do with wars.
