I'm surprised and happy this is the general sentiment now. I've defended the whole filming feeding the poor for clout and got completely shat on around a year or two ago I think, by people saying that they would rather starve than lower themselves like that. And all I could think of is that they have no idea what true hunger is. I'm not a fan of doing it for clout, but it's better than nothing.

Agreed. I should have specified "world record" 😊. You can indeed have multiple courses each with their individual records, but in order to claim a world record it would still have to be a fixed challange so that anyone has the same fair chance at it.
Agreed, but I have to admit that at least from my perspective young adults nowadays throw it away for the stupidest reasons. It's like the balance swung fully the other way.I agree that there are things that can't be fixed but there has to be some middle ground and I think this is the message thay should be taken here.
I understand what you are saying but even in rogue likes a speedrunner will abbandon the run and restart if the pattern doesn't match the optimal established pattern. If you look at world record runners most runs will probably follow the same path or try to control that outcome.It would be awkward for real life sports. Imagine a wall climber giving up before even trying because they can tell that the pattern they got isn't doable in less than world record time so tough luck.
I mean you can't really have a record for a non fixed pattern.

Kinda agree but you don't really build up those feeling conciously as much as it just hits you one day. You are indeed the one who fucks up the friendship so you feel just double as shitty.It's just a crappy part of life and how peoples brains are wired.Ideally the 2 friends would sit down and discuss and decide if they want to try to stay friends or move on. But people suck at communication and have a hard time having such heart opening discussions.
Yeah better the guy be miserable and confused for god knows how long am I right ? I mean what guy wouldn't want to have the girl they like talk about other guys and knowing other stuff is happening. Not to mention that any decent guy will feel like an ass for a long time when they do this so it's a lose/lose.And no it's not just about having sex. Believe it or not guys can actually want a life partner for more than just that.So no, the situation sucks for both sides.
Yup it's about experience. Someone that's not very techy might have difficulties even following a guide: different version, different UI , fear of making it worse. As IT I've seen enough shit that as long as I have a rough outline it's generally easy to adapt the solution.......most of the time.
To clarify before the internet warriors come at me. I am aware that things work very differently in different companies. The above ia just from my general experience and should not be taken as hard fact.
That just sound like either a shitty workplace without basic infrastructure or a small company with one undepaid "IT" guy that handles more than he is supposed to.Generally IT doesn't send mails to all, except for some situations. Also IT is not responsible for keepong mailing lists updated, they should have an owner that updates themselves or tells IT what to update.As for the internal wiki can't say much. Depends on who set it up and how. Were I work they just use sharepoint so..shrug.
IT here - the amount of times I get asked about functions on specialized software or excel macros not working ..and I just want to tell them "Bruh you have more experience with this stuff than me, I only installed it and activated the license"
