yeah, that dog is def asking for help. not bc it physically can't deal with it, but bc they know doing anything would be Bad Dog material
for right now, pamper yourself & gf emotionally, or distract yourself if you can't handle the grief immediately.
it gets a little easier to handle with time... if you're at the pt where you can't function atm, that's okay. that won't last forever.
