I'm 22, a dude and i'm from the US. i'm not great at things.

Typically they last about 6 to 10 seconds. i don't flail or anything but i do forget where i am and often times just stare at someone
I've got temporal lobe epilepsy. i was diagnosed when i was 18 and at 22 (almost 23) i on average have about two seizures a week.
Hell if i were still in high school i'd want my teacher to carry a gun too, i'd rather have something to fight back with.

yeah, it sucks because i want to be a cop lol the ironic part (which i'm sure you're aware of) is that i can't drive lol
well that's good! they still have a few things they wanna do but surgery is definitely an option for the future.
A VNS Device(Vagus nerve Stimulation) and it sort of helps. i still have about 3 seizures a month and it causes me to leave work early a lot
I've got Temporal Lobe Epilepsy too, i'm 22 but was diagnosed when i was 18. I take 8 pills a day for it and they installed a VNS (1)
the second to last one actually made me feel bad

The VNS doesn't work so now i too have no fucking clue what to do next, i know your feels, hang in there!! :) it'll get better
but now i don't bc the seizure meds fuck with my short term memory too much, i got surgery for something called a VNS to stop the seizures
