That is being done. I cant remember a time I was encouraged to do a job, but my schools regularly encouraged women to look into stem fields
More capable people to fill the employment gaps means less pay for the person that gets the job. Women out earn the men in my age group
Read into the wage gap and why it exist. A big part of that is the careers women are choosing. You cant force them into higher paying work.
