I was deathly allergic to milk as a kid and explaining it to people as an adult, I get "they have pills you can take!" or "yeah I get tummy aches too" way too often. I'm like "no you don't understand I carried an EpiPen."
I've been spending a LOT of time with my therapist trying to find something that makes me happy that doesn't rely on others, be it validation or whatever. I can't find anything!
