After a deft jungle chase, the protagonist and antagonists pause on the beach to see Conquistadors arrive. In their shock of europeans, the protag escapes while the antags think "Wow we should talk to these guys and bring them back to our city", or so implied as to their eventual collapse, as the movie has shown drought and decadence has already taken its toll.
A rare example unfortunately.
