I have a cat statue I put where he always curled up on the deck, with line of sight inside to us. Has helped with what would otherwise be an empty spot.

Feeling it so hard for you. I'm glad you got to be with him. Almost 1yr now since my pal of 15yrs passed. I am so happy I insisted on taking him home from the ER and having a local vet help him transition at home. We did the same; puppy pad, lots of snuggles, goodbye in the yard where he loved it. Wrapped him in the packing paper he loved so much and buried where I can look off the deck to him. Took me ~3hrs to get to digging after the vet left

My brother found one of these by accident once. It must have been low powered. He was leaning on it and didn't know. It made him feel like there was a rock in his shoe. The freaking out started when he got his sock off and could still feel it.

For me, they feel like something twigging my funny bone.

Is this a case where ongoing damage (trauma) could also be included? The perpetrator has reduced OP's sense of social safety, leading to extra stressors. And maybe necessary therapy. Whatever you need to feel safe(-ish) again. <3 Best of luck.

Wonder if it's the onion or the oil it/the burger are made in? All kinds of weird stuff out there. I had some fantastic mashed potatoes at a Greek place once and reeked for DAYS. A shower would quell it for ~30m.

Thanks for sharing. My norm for awhile has been once every 6-12 days. Usually right on a week. Not like I do much. Sit in a chair and work, sit on a couch and game/tv, low-key housework, sleep. It's not bad other than my scalp getting painful (evidently a yeast buildup that causes inflammation).

Adrenaline affects mine a lot. And I suspect choline too (eggs, broccoli, etc)

Not blaming delivery people personally, they've been heroes since COVID; but delivery companies don't seem to care. No one even knocks.

As long as your office doesn't yell at you for wasting company funds processing your personal mail. Yes, I've seen it happen.
