I’m an RN on a COVID unit and have checked my SpO2 after wearing an N95 with a surgical mask over it for 8+ hours, never has been below 98%

I broke my ankle and was told to take ibuprofen. Definitely depends on the area/doctor.

But I’d love to see the statistics on the number of diabetics who spend their money on twinkies instead of insulin! Must be fascinating.

And 14% of t2d in the US are on insulin, which is a larger percentage than t1d.

My reasoning is 100% of t1d must use insulin while a fraction of t2d do and it is used as a last resort. However, I researched statistics

I’m sorry you don’t like what I have to say... I would suggest broadening your sources and not taking what one person says as absolute truth

The fact that he is claiming it as a cure is really my only issue. All the rest seems great and I can understand how it would work.

Attest to the fact that if this lifestyle is not maintained, symptoms of diabetes will return. That is not a cure.

I’m sorry but bold letters and empty statements are not valid science. A cure means you no longer need to continue treatment. I can strongly

I just don’t see this as a cure. It seems to be an incredibly effective treatment (sincerely happy it works for you!)

I do as well! Love seeing new research. But I also hate seeing people who believe they’ve been cured and then continue to deteriorate.

Finding a lifestyle that manages is great! But if the old lifestyle is returned to, the symptoms of diabetes will still be there.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m happy to hear that! Not trying to ruin yours either. I just believe that advertising a cure which is just treatment can be harmful.

Insulin dependent diabetes vs insulin resistance... but I see you’re not looking for a productive conversation :)

What is made up then?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

From what I read, he said t2d can be cured through diet and exercise. Again, this is not a cure and is not new protocol.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m not sure what you’re implying? Nothing made up.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just FYI- most insulin users have type 1 diabetes

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There are many different types of insulin that work differently in the body and differently between individuals. This may not work for all.

There’s a huge difference between curing a disease and having tight control with diet and exercise. This is not new knowledge.
